Recently I tried a variety of foods from Nature's Plate. This is a company based in Dallas (by people from Denton) that makes healthy vegan meals, which you can preorder and pick up at Mashup Market on Wednesday afternoons.
I was happy to find that they were tasty, healthy, and convenient. The veggies in the Sweet and Sour Tofu had crunch to them, the Chana Masala had a great spice, and the mashed potatoes were so flavorful! The menu options change each week, and things can be ordered a la carte or with a subscription service. The subscription is a purchase of at least 5 meals a week, which can be skipped as needed, at a lower price. There are also discounts for quantity orders on top of that. I went for the subscription because I have hungry vegan teens and I'd rather they grab something like this than a package of ramen! Pictured above, clockwise from top left: Sweet and Sour Tofu, gf Brownie, Lemon Tahini Bowl, Chana Masala (I added a dollop of plain yogurt), Chana Masala in the package, and the BBQ Plate. If you'd like to try them out, they are offering $15 off your first order with the coupon code DENTONVEGAN. Choose Wednesday delivery and Mashup Market as the location. Enjoy!
